Lockouts on automobiles and trucks are better serviced if one can open the vehicle without inserting tools into the door cavity itself.
This tool by HPC actually enters the interior of the vehicle, into the passenger compartment, by passing underneath the window glass in one of the doors.
The tip of the tool is then directed to a door lock switch or rocker button where it can be manipulated to open the vehicle. This version of the under glass tool has an extra long reach for vehicles in which the lock button is low on the door. The loop in the opener is fairly narrow. You should consider buying the wider version, the HPC CO70, in order to be prepared for vehicles with wide door sills.
