The 216 Series touchless switches provide automatic door activation in a completely hands-free and germ-free manner. Ideal for use in ADA applications, health care facilities, clean rooms, bathrooms – any location where germ-free activation is preferred.

Three formed, stainless steel faceplate sizes: 4.5” x 4.5” (216), 2.75” x 4.5”  (216-L), 1.4” x 4.5” (216-N)
Attaches directly to single gang  electrical boxes (216 & 216-L); door frames (216-N) or MS Sedco #1015 surface box (216); #1035 surface box (216-N) sold separately
Detection method – amplitude  modulated, coded carrier active infrared
Adjustable detection distance – 6”-30”
Input power – 12-24V AC or DC; not polarity sensitive

MS Sedco 216-N 216 Series jamb-mount wired touchless switch for 1-3/4 inch door frames and automatic door systems.

IR Switch & 1-11/16" x 4-1/2" Face Plate (Fits 1-3/4" Door Frame). Can also be used with the 2WIRE MODULE.

The 216 Series "touchless" switches are active infrared devices designed to activate full and low energy automatic doors.

Hands-free operation makes these switches ideal for handicap accessibility and Knowing Act Doors. Other applications include bathroom door and clean room door activation where a sterile environment is needed.
