I.E.I. Prox Card II – Basic Operation Instructions

1. Verify the ProxPoint reader is properly installed, powered, and connected to the access control system according to the system manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Enroll or program the Prox Card II into the access control system using the system’s software or controller interface.
3. To gain access, present the card within the normal read range of the ProxPoint reader.
4. When the card is recognized, the reader will signal the access control system to grant or deny access based on programmed permissions.
5. No battery or maintenance is required for the Prox Card II; operation is passive and automatic during normal use.
