28/70KA-0130 - Diskus® "Standard Security" Padlock by Abus

The 28 Series is designed for standard security. It has all features of the original DISKUS except some of the internal stainless steel part have been replaced with yellow zinc plated steel. It comes standard with a precision pin tumbler cylinder with anti pick pins for extra pick protection. Protected shackle provides additional cut- and saw resistance. For many applications there is no difference in performance.

The disc lock is a special form of the padlock with some distinct advantages. The disc shape effectively combats the most common ways of forcing it open. The design with only a small opening in the shackle makes it very difficult to tamper with. As the ABUS Diskus® is made mainly of stainless steel, it is used especially where security and protection against corrosion are required.
