The ND-Series has long been one of Schlage's best selling mechanical locks for good reason - it's tough, durable, Grade 1 rated and fits a wide variety of applications. Now we've made our trusted ND-Series lock even better by making it easier to install. We've added these enhancements because we know that a lock installed correctly the first time will last longer and perform better. And the longer the lock lasts, the lower the cost of ownership over the life of the lock. We've also increased our warranty to provide 10 years of coverage. The result: greater peace of mind that every door is safe and secured with a lock built to last.
So not only do you get our toughest Grade 1 cylindrical lock, that is ideal for use in schools, hospitals, offices, retail spaces, colleges, universities and other applications.
Anti-Microbial
Locks with an antimicrobial finish are coated with an IFS silver antimicrobial additive that inhibits enzyme activity and the multiplication of microbes. When microbes can't multiply, they die out quicker, keeping the lock from being a breeding ground for microbes.

In compliance with the American National Standard Institute (ANSI A117.1) and the Americans with Disabilites Act (ADA), Schlage Lock Company offers a wide selection of locks designed for the needs of the physically challenged. This act is designed to provide protection for people with disabilites.
The intent of ADA is that owners of certain types of buildings must remove barriers and provide people with disabilities with access equal to, or similar to, that available to the general public.
Function: The Schlage ND-Series Levers are available in Keyed Entry (ND53D) function.
Finish: The Schlage ND-Series Levers come in Satin Chrome (626) finish.
Lever Design: The Schlage ND-Series Levers come in Rhodes (RHO) design.
All Schlage ND-Series Locks come standard with Square Corner 2-3/4" Backset Latch (Spring Latch 13-048; Deadlatch 13-047) and Square Corner Strike (10-025).
Door Range: 1-5/8" - 2-1/8" (41mm - 54mm).
Latch: 1-1/8" x 2-1/4", Square Corner Faceplate, 1" housing diameter, 1/2" throw.
Strike: 1-1/4" x 4-7/8", ANSI, Square Corner, No Box (10-025).
Backset: Standard 2-3/4" Backset (Spring Latch 13-048; Deadlatch 13-047).
Certification: ANSI/BHMA Certified A156.2-2011, Series 4000, Grade 1, UL Listed for 3-hour fire door.
