Auto-Lock
Never worry if your door is locked again. Auto-Lock can be set for immediate or on a timer for as short as 30 sec or as long as 30 min.
Auto Un-Lock
Auto-Unlock knows when you arrive and unlock the door as you approach. Never fumble for keys again.
Auto-Unlock relies on a few different technologies in your phone, not only the August app but also your Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
When you're at home, your August app will enter Home Mode and Auto-Unlock will not activate, it's waiting for you to leave.
When the August app sees you have left your neighborhood, Auto-Unlock will go into Away Mode, until you return home again.
When you then return to within 200 ft. from your home, your phone will start looking for your lock. Once you're close enough to your door (20-30 feet) your door will Auto-Unlock and the app will go back into Home Mode.

* Ordering: All Emtek Handlesets are sold as complete units with Outside Handleset and Inside Interior Pack. Emtek requires a knob or lever to be picked with the handleset. To order the Interior Pack please see "Companion Items" above. You can choose any Emtek Knob or Lever style in any finish as your Interior Pack. THe price of the handleset covers both the handleset and the interior pack. All EMP1105 Active Handlesets include the complete outside handleset portion and cylinder; the Interior Packs consist of the selected knob-or-lever design, deadbolt and latch, thumbturn, screws and strikes.
